Full Description The Ideal Candidate Will

- Hold a valid Manitoba ECE II certificate.
- Hold or be able to obtain a clear Child Abuse Registry Check and Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sectors.
- Certified in Emergency First Aid and CPR Level C
- Certified in “Commit to Kids Child Abuse Prevention”
- Provide responsive, developmentally appropriate care and learning experiences.
- Plan and implement engaging activities that support children’s social, emotional, cognitive, language, and physical development.
- Build positive and respectful relationships with children and families.
- Maintain a safe, clean, organized, and welcoming workplace.
- Observe and respond appropriately to children’s individual interests, abilities, and developmental needs.
- Support positive behavior guidance using respectful and age-appropriate strategies.
- Work collaboratively with educators and other team members to provide consistent, high-quality care.
- Communicate professionally and respectfully with parents, guardians, coworkers, and management.




- Maintain accurate documentation and follow centre policies, procedures, and licensing requirements.
- Demonstrate reliability, punctuality, flexibility, and a strong work ethic.
- Be willing to learn, accept feedback, and contribute positively to the ongoing improvement of the centre.
- Maintain confidentiality and demonstrate professionalism at all times.
- Be comfortable working in a busy childcare environment and able to adapt to changing needs throughout the day.
