Children First Childcare Centre is in need of a part time childcare worker for the 2026-2027 school year. There is a possibility of this becoming a full-time permanent position. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, reliable and have a desire to enhance the lives of young children.

Support full-time staff with the daily operations of the center.

Will be responsible for planning and implementing daily educational activities for the children.

Promote positive behavior with the children. Encouraging behavior to foster the development of self-esteem and self-confidence.

Will be respectful of the children, parents, staff, and community members.

Assist children with self-help skills (Washing hands, getting dressed, feeding themselves, etc.)

Assist with housekeeping tasks such as laundry, sanitizing, etc.

Requirements

ECE Level 1 or 2 preferred.

Candidates must have or being willing to obtain their ECE Level 1 and Standard First Aid / CPR Certifications. A Criminal Record Check with vulnerable sector is also required.
