The Vice

Principal will spearhead the daily operations of the Junior Kindergarten to Grade 5 programmes at SMS, ensuring a holistic and enriching educational workplace. Working under the Deputy Head of School, Academics, you will foster collaboration among faculty and ensure compliance with IB standards.

Your role includes supporting teachers, interacting with parents, and addressing the diverse needs of students. Key Responsibilities:

- Manage operational aspects of JK-Grade 5 programmes
- Liaise with staff on early years pedagogy




- Promote innovative learning aligned with Ministry and IB standards
- Participate in the hiring and evaluation of faculty
- Engage proactively with parents and the school community Requirements:
- BC College of Teachers certification required
- Master’s degree in education or leadership needed
- Minimum 5 years of classroom teaching experience
- Experience in IB education is crucial
