Agri-Neo’s mission is to help safely feed the world. Our vision to accomplish this is to set new food safety standards with our treatments for many foods. Our first product line is Neo-Pure, which leverages our proprietary technology of liquid formulas and systems that apply our solutions onto spices, seeds, herbs, and nuts in food processing facilities.

These solutions control pathogens such as Salmonella and other quality indicator microorganisms (TPC, coliforms, etc.) to ensure the food is safe to eat and to prevent recalls. We have several customers throughout the globe (North America, Latin America, China, and Egypt), including large mainstream food processors that treat food continuously at high throughputs.

We are scaling up our products at more mainstream customer sites to ensure that we set current food safety and food quality standards to help safely feed the world.

POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to support the design and execute the assembly and commissioning of industrial food pasteurization systems shipped globally. This role is a hands-on position that begins with reviewing electrical designs, leading panel builds & modifications and supporting system configuration, integration, and commissioning.

Over time, the successful candidate will grow into driving electrical panel design, leading CSA certification efforts, and owning system commissioning and troubleshooting, including basic PLC/program modifications and debugging. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys both engineering design,



hands-on electrical work and is looking to develop into a well-rounded industrial electrical and controls engineer.

Key Responsibilities

- Review electrical schematics, panel layouts, and wiring diagrams for accuracy and compliance.
- Assist with the development of single-line diagrams, panel layouts, and bills of materials (BOMs).
- Physically assemble and wire electrical control panels.
- Perform testing and verification, including point-to-point wiring checks.
- Configure field devices such as VFDs, sensors, and transmitters.
- Support system setup and commissioning activities.
- Design electrical control panels, including component selection and layout (as experience grows).
- Lead panel builds and coordinate with purchasing team.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues during commissioning and testing.
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards (Canadian Electrical Code, CSA, UL, CE).
- Support and eventually lead CSA certification and SPE-1000 field evaluations.
- Interface with inspectors, certification bodies, and internal teams.
- Assist with PLC troubleshooting, debugging, and minor program modifications.
- Support continuous improvement of electrical design standards and documentation.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
- 1–3 years of relevant experience.
- Strong interest in industrial systems and hands-on work.




- Willingness to work in both office and shop environments.
- Ability to travel occasionally for commissioning or system support.
- Ability to travel to the United States frequently and with short notice.
- Valid Driver’s license & insurance.
- Valid passport.

Skills :

- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Understanding of industrial electrical systems and control panels.
- Familiarity with PLCs and automation systems (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Schneider, Siemens).
- Experience using electrical design tools such as AutoCAD Electrical or EPLAN.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to learn and grow across design, build, and commissioning functions.
