The Opportunity

Rightway Recruitment is working with an established electrical contractor seeking an experienced Electrical Foreperson to lead the electrical construction of a multi-family residential condominium project in Kelowna. With the concrete portion of the project complete, the successful candidate will oversee electrical installations throughout the wood-frame phase.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Red Seal Electrician with strong multi-family wood-frame experience who is ready to take ownership of site operations. You will lead the electrical crew, coordinate with project stakeholders, and ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

Site Operations & Project Delivery

- Lead daily electrical activities on a multi-family residential construction site
- Plan work, allocate labour, and monitor crew productivity
- Oversee electrical installations throughout the wood-frame phase
- Read and interpret drawings, specifications, schedules, and construction documents
- Identify material requirements, site conflicts, and potential schedule impacts

Coordination & Quality Control

- Coordinate electrical work with the general contractor, consultants, project management, and other trades
- Ensure installations comply with project specifications, electrical codes, and quality standards
- Conduct quality-control inspections and address deficiencies promptly




- Support material procurement, change orders, scheduling, and project closeout
- Maintain accurate documentation for labour, materials, site progress, and changes

Team Leadership & Safety

- Provide hands-on leadership to apprentices and journeypersons
- Coach team members and provide technical guidance when required
- Promote a productive, professional, and collaborative site culture
- Enforce company safety policies and applicable regulatory requirements
- Lead by example in workmanship, accountability, and safe work practices

Project Scope

- Multi-family residential condominium construction
- Wood-frame construction phase
- Full electrical installation and site coordination
- Coordination with the general contractor, consultants, and multiple trades
- Concrete multi-family experience is considered an asset

What You Bring

- Red Seal Construction Electrician certification is required
- Valid Field Safety Representative (FSR) certification is an asset
- Minimum five years of experience as a Red Seal Electrician
- Strong wood-frame, multi-family residential construction experience
- Previous experience as a Foreperson, Lead Hand, or senior site leader




- Thorough knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code and applicable BC regulations
- Ability to interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and construction schedules
- Strong leadership, planning, communication, and problem-solving abilities
- Valid driver's licence and a strong commitment to workplace safety

Working Environment

- Full-time, permanent, site-based position in Kelowna
- Responsible for the day-to-day leadership of the electrical site crew
- Regular coordination with project management, the general contractor, consultants, and other trades
- Supported by an experienced project and operational leadership team

Compensation & Benefits

- $42-$45 per hour, based on experience
