Lead electrical governance and compliance as the Principal Engineer at Elk Valley Resources in beautiful British Columbia. Based in the stunning Elk Valley, the Principal Engineer, Electrical will report to the Director of Maintenance.

This senior role requires expertise in electrical safety risk management and compliance, alongside strong leadership skills to engage diverse stakeholders effectively. You will oversee the Electrical Engineering Control Plan and ensure that all assets adhere to set standards and permits. Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the development and implementation of electrical governance frameworks
- Manage enterprise-wide electrical safety risk under FHP06




- Serve as primary liaison with Glencore on electrical matters
- Conduct second-party audits to assess compliance with EECP
- Provide technical oversight and strategic guidance on electrical compliance

Requirements:

- Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent certification
- 12+ years' experience in mining or related industry
- Eligible for registration as a Skilled Engineer in British Columbia
- Proven leadership in compliance governance initiatives
- Strong knowledge of Canadian Electrical Code and mining regulations
