This position involves performing live test on electronic assemblies, analyzing results, and ensuring product quality. The successful candidate will be comfortable working with computer systems and operating environments, possess strong knowledge of electronic assemblies, and have experience with electronic testing tools. Excellent troubleshooting skills, and attention to detail, and strong commitment to quality are essential.

Key Responsibilities
- Follow detailed written instructions to perform functional and in-circuit testing of printed circuit boards and electronic assemblies
- Perform live tests (burn-ins) on assemblies, recording and analyzing results in accordance with defined procedures
- Use oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers, and automated test equipment to verify performance and detect faults.
- Identify, document, and report defects, failures, and variances in test results
- Troubleshoot circuit board failures down to the component level when required
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve quality or design issues
- Follow established procedures, safety guidelines, and ESD handling practices
- Perform minor assembly or modification tasks on electronic components, when requested
Required Skills And Qualifications
- Diploma or certificate in Electronics Technology, Electrical Engineering,
or related field (or equivalent hands-on experience)
- 1-3 years experience in PCB testing, electronic assembly, or related role a must
- MUST be available to work a straight afternoon shift
- Strong understanding of electronic components, schematics, and circuit design basics
- Ability to diagnose and repair down to component level
- Knowledge of IPC standards and quality systems is an advantage
- Good manual dexterity demonstrating fine motor skills (hand-eye coordination)
- Experience working in a computerized workplace (Windows, Linux, MS Office)
- Be adaptable to changing demands and support a team work environment
- Sound communication skills
- Able to maintain focus while working independently and see tasks through to completion
- Comfort with modern computing and display interfaces (USB, HDMI, etc.)
- Ability to work overtime when required to meet production schedules
