The Enterprise Applications Developer supports the development and implementation of workflow automation and systems integration solutions using Laserfiche Forms and Workflow. Working within the Enterprise Applications team, the incumbent will assist in building electronic forms, automating business processes, developing integrations, and supporting data access requirements for the Ellucian Colleague ERP system.
The successful candidate will work closely with business and technical stakeholders to deliver solutions that improve efficiency, streamline processes, and enable secure access to institutional data. This is a hands-on development role focused on implementation and support rather than architecture or strategic planning. The candidate also supports integrations across systems, including Microsoft Universal Print.
Summary of Responsibilities:
Laserfiche Development
- Develop, test, and deploy solutions using Laserfiche Forms and Laserfiche Workflow.
- Create electronic forms and workflow processes to automate business operations.
- Configure approval routing, notifications, task assignments, and document workflows.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Laserfiche forms, workflows, and integrations.
- Participate in workflow enhancements and process improvement initiatives.
Integration and API Development
- Develop and maintain APIs and integration components to support business applications.
- Build interfaces between Laserfiche, Colleague, and other institutional systems.
- Lead the creation and maintenance of REST-based web services.
- Participate in testing and deployment of integration solutions.
Database Development
- Develop SQL queries, views,
and stored procedures to support workflow and integration requirements.
- Access and retrieve data from the Colleague database using approved methods.
- Lead the validating and troubleshooting of data-related issues.
- Support reporting and data extraction requirements as needed.
Documentation and Support
- Document solutions, technical configurations, and support procedures.
- Participate in testing activities, including unit testing and user acceptance testing.
- Provide technical support during implementation and post-deployment activities.
- Work collaboratively with business users, analysts, and technical team members.
Microsoft Universal Print
- Serve as system administrator and provide technical support for Microsoft Universal Print infrastructure.
- Responsible for configuration, deployment coordination, troubleshooting, maintenance and management of dedicated print server workplace in collaboration with Copy and Print Services.
- Duties may be assigned at the discretion of the Director, Enterprise Applications.
Qualifications: Required
- A minimum of four (4) years of experience and a diploma or degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Development, or a related field.
- Experience developing applications, workflows, or integrations in a business environment.
- Experience with Laserfiche Forms and/or Laserfiche Workflow.
- Experience writing SQL queries and working with Microsoft SQL Server.
- Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, and web service technologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage assigned deliverables.
- Experience with Microsoft Universal Print infrastructure and configuration.
Preferred
- Experience working with Ellucian Colleague.
- Experience developing integrations between enterprise applications.
- Experience with C#, .NET, PowerShell, or similar technologies.
- Experience in higher education or other complex organizational environments.
- Familiarity with source control systems such as Git.

Compensation: OPSEU Unit 1, Appendix B, Grade B2; $36.77 to $48.33per hour Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, for a total of 35 hours per week.
This is a temporary contract expected to continue until until January 29, 2027.
