Reporting to the Associate Vice President, Enterprise Architecture, the Principal Enterprise Architect will play a key role in shaping the organization's technology strategy, with a primary focus on Data and AI. Define and implement architectural strategies and standards to support enterprise initiatives. Analyze existing systems for modernization opportunities, improvements, and risks.

Responsible for supervising and controlling the integration of the enterprise capability model into data governance, including any associated models. Provide technical leadership and guidance to ensure high-quality solution design. Identify and manage technical risks and issues in collaboration with Principal Architects.

Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.



~7+ years IT experience in progressive development and design related positions with 4+ years experience working in an architect/system design role. ~ Experience with up-to-date stacks including security, middleware, cloud, data pipelines, microservices, containers, CI/CD. ~ Demonstrated ability to think and communicate in both abstract and concrete concepts. ~ Experience in managing technical risks and issues. ~ Ability to work collaboratively with various IT and Business leadership teams. ~ Experience in the AI, Data and the Retail industry is an asset. Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; 7+ years IT experience with 4+ years in an architect/system design role;

experience with cloud, microservices, containers, CI/CD, data pipelines; security best practices expertise. #
