Jackman Faculty of Law at the University of Toronto invites applications for a full-time tenure stream position in Business Law. We seek candidates with research and teaching expertise in the area of Business Law including but not limited to Corporate Law, Corporate Governance, and Securities Law. The successful candidate’s research should be interdisciplinary and draw on economics, finance, accounting, management, political science, philosophy, or data science.
The successful candidate should demonstrate the ability to produce scholarship that is not confined primarily to the law of a single jurisdiction. Jurisdiction specific expertise is valued where it is used to test, refine, or develop broader conceptual, comparative, institutional, or policy arguments. Candidates must provide evidence of research excellence, as demonstrated by a record of sustained high-impact contributions and publications in top-ranked and field-relevant journals; Evidence of excellence in teaching will be demonstrated through teaching accomplishments, the teaching dossier (including the required materials outlined below), and solid letters of reference.
The upper end of the salary range for this position exceeds $200,000 CAD per annum.
