Whinny Hill Equestrian Centre is an equine farm and learning center on Nova Scotia’s South Shore. We have 30 horses, 1 mule, 5 donkeys, 8 goats, 3 sheep, and several cats and dogs. Some animals are rescues, others have pedigrees, but all are treated with the same love and care.
We offer a riding school as well as therapy programs. We are looking for a mature, sensible and able bodied individual to work here. Duties would include mucking the barns and pastures, feeding the horses, and generally keeping them healthy and protected. Knowledge of horses is essential. This position requires that everyone must be team players and willing to put in a decent day’s work in return for a decent day’s pay.
