Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair
- Handle food preparation tasks, pastries, and light snacks according to health and safety standards
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems, to process transactions accurately and efficiently
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders promptly, and addressing any special requests or concerns
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including food handling stations and seating areas
- Manage cash handling responsibilities with accuracy, including cashing out at the end of shifts
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures at all times
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Barista with strong knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and beverage customization
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling and order calculations accurately
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Capable of standing for extended periods while maintaining high energy levels throughout shifts
