Job Summary

Duties

- Prepare and cook a variety of pizza and pasta dishes according to established recipes and quality standards
- Ensure all food handling procedures comply with safety regulations to maintain a secure kitchen environment
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, marinating, and assembling ingredients
- Monitor cooking times and temperatures to achieve optimal texture and flavor
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen equipment throughout shifts
- Serve dishes promptly while ensuring presentation aligns with restaurant standards
- Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent food service experiences for guests




- ensure cooking area is cleaned daily which includes dishes/pots/pans

Requirements

- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service within a restaurant or food industry setting
- Robust knowledge of pizza and pasta preparation techniques and ingredients
- Familiarity with food safety practices and proper handling procedures
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a busy kitchen environment
- Excellent attention to detail for meal presentation and quality control
- Previous experience with serving guests in a fast-paced restaurant environment is preferred
- Kitchen experience involving meal preparation, food handling, and maintaining sanitation standards
