Roof Ninjas is hiring an experienced roofing and exterior technician to join our team in Stratford, Ontario.

This is not primarily a full roof replacement position. Most larger roof replacements and major exterior projects are handled by our subcontractor crews. Our in-house team focuses on the smaller, more detailed jobs — repairs, troubleshooting, service calls, and exterior work.

We are looking for someone who has solid roofing experience and at least some hands-on experience with soffit, fascia, eavestrough, and siding. You do not need to be an expert in every area, but you should be comfortable working independently on common repairs and small jobs.

For example, we are looking for someone who can confidently handle things like replacing a roof vent or pipe boot, repairing shingles, troubleshooting leaks, replacing damaged fascia or soffit, completing small eavestrough repairs, and assisting with other exterior service work.

Typical Work Includes

- Shingle and roof repairs
- Leak investigation and troubleshooting
- Replacing roof vents and plumbing pipe boots
- Flashing repairs
- Chimney and roof penetration repairs
- Small roofing sections and additions
- Eavestrough repairs and replacement
- Soffit and fascia repairs
- Siding repairs
- Exterior maintenance and service calls
- Roof inspections and minor corrective work
- Keeping jobsites clean, safe, and professional

You may occasionally assist with a larger roof or exterior project, but this role is primarily focused on repairs, service work, and smaller jobs rather than tearing off shingles all day.

Requirements

- Previous roofing experience required
- Some experience with soffit, fascia, eavestrough, and/or siding
- Able to complete common roofing repairs independently




- Valid driver’s licence
- Reliable transportation to our shop
- Comfortable working at heights
- Own basic hand tools
- Able to work outdoors in varying weather
- Reliable attendance
- Good communication with customers and coworkers
- Takes pride in clean, professional workmanship
- Working at Heights training is an asset

We are not looking for someone who simply has general labour experience. You should already understand basic roofing systems and be able to look at a straightforward repair and know how to approach it properly.
