Job Overview

We are seeking skilled experienced roofer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for removing, prepping and installing shingles on primarily residential buildings. This role requires a robust understanding of roofing materials and techniques, as well as the ability to work at heights safely.

Responsibilities

- Install asphalt shingles
- Inspect roofs for damage or leaks and perform necessary repairs.
- Remove old roofing materials and prepare surfaces for new installations.
- Apply caulking and sealants to ensure waterproofing.
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed while working at heights.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.

Skills

- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools relevant to roofing tasks.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during installations and repairs.




- Experience with caulking techniques for sealing roof joints and edges.
- Basic carpentry skills for building roof structures or supports when necessary.
- General maintenance person skills to assist with various tasks related to roofing projects.
- Siding experience is a definite asset
- Must have valid fall protection training (can be provided if necessary)
