We are seeking a motivated and experienced Roofing Installer to join our agile construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining roofing systems on residential and commercial buildings. Responsibilities
- Safely install roofing materials such as shingles, metal panels, or membrane systems following project specifications and safety standards
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to accurately execute roofing layouts and designs
- Use hand tools, power tools, and other construction equipment efficiently to complete roofing tasks
- Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment to ensure timely progress on job sites
- Apply caulking and sealing techniques to ensure waterproofing and weatherproofing of roofs
- Conduct site inspections to verify proper installation procedures and identify potential issues early
- Assist with other construction tasks as needed, including carpentry or handyman duties related to roofing projects
Skills
- Proficiency with hand tools such as hammers, screwdrivers, utility knives, and tape measures
- Construction experience with a focus on roofing or related trades
- Strong carpentry skills for framing, trimming, and finishing work on roofs
- Ability to read blueprints accurately and follow detailed instructions
- Knowledge of caulking techniques for waterproofing applications
- Physical strength and stamina for heavy lifting and working at heights safely
