Blood Brothers Brewing is looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Facilities Support person to help keep our brewery, taproom, offices and common areas clean, organized and well maintained.
Cleaning and facility upkeep are the primary focus of this position, with additional responsibility for basic handyman work and minor repairs around the brewery.
We're looking for someone who takes pride in maintaining a clean space, works independently and notices when something needs attention.
Primary Responsibilities
- Daily cleaning and upkeep of the brewery and facility
- Cleaning washrooms, offices, common areas and staff areas
- Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming and maintaining floors
- Cleaning surfaces, fixtures, windows and other facility areas
- Regular deep-cleaning projects
- Garbage, recycling and waste management
- Restocking washroom and cleaning supplies
- Keeping storage, maintenance and common areas clean and organized
- Monitoring cleaning supplies and communicating purchasing needs
- Periodic exterior and seasonal property cleanup
- Identifying cleanliness, safety or maintenance issues throughout the facility
General Maintenance & Handyman Support
- Complete minor repairs around the brewery
- Painting,
patching and basic drywall repair
- Furniture and shelving assembly
- Replacing basic fixtures and hardware
- Minor plumbing fixes
- Basic door, lock and hardware repairs
- Changing light bulbs and other routine facility maintenance
- Assist with moving furniture, equipment and supplies
- Identify larger maintenance issues that require an outside contractor
What We're Looking For
- Reliable and punctual
- Strong attention to cleanliness and detail
- Comfortable working independently
- Previous commercial cleaning, custodial or facilities experience is an asset
- Comfortable using basic hand and power tools
- General handyman skills are an asset
- Able to prioritize tasks without constant supervision
- Comfortable working in an active brewery environment
- Physically able to perform cleaning, lifting and general facility work
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys keeping a busy workplace clean, organized and functioning properly. Pay: $19.00-$23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20.0 – 35.0 per week
