About the Opportunity

Kinrise Medical Centre is seeking Family Physicians to join our growing primary care practice in South Vancouver.

We welcome both Canadian and internationally trained physicians, including physicians currently practising in the United States, United Kingdom, Hong Kong, Australia, Ireland, Recent Zealand, South Africa, Switzerland, and other international jurisdictions.

Recent changes to physician licensing in British Columbia have created new and streamlined pathways for certain internationally trained physicians.

You do not need to already hold a BC medical licence to apply. If you are considering relocating to British Columbia, we are happy to discuss the opportunity while you explore your eligibility for registration with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia (CPSBC).

For suitable international candidates, we can assist with:

- Navigating potential CPSBC licensing pathways
- Clinic/employer documentation for eligible licensing and immigration pathways
- Credentialing and onboarding
- Relocation and settlement guidance
- Transitioning into medical practice in British Columbia

Final licensing and immigration eligibility are determined by CPSBC and the applicable Canadian authorities.

About Kinrise Medical Centre

Kinrise Medical Centre is a newly renovated, modern family practice in South Vancouver. We offer a supportive and collegial environment designed to let physicians focus on patient care.

Physicians are supported by an experienced clinic team, including:
- Highly experienced full time MOA fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin
- MOA support with vitals, newborn measurements, visual acuity testing, scheduling, and room turnover
- Full-time in-office Medical Director
- Operations Manager support
- Informal peer consultation within a collaborative group practice

Our clinic provides full-spectrum primary care from newborns to seniors. Typical physician volume is approximately 25+ patients per day, depending on preferred workload and schedule.

Flexible Practice

We recognize that every physician has a different preferred practice style. Physicians can:

- Work full-time or part-time
- Customize their weekly schedule
- Choose a mix of virtual and in-office visits
- Build or maintain a longitudinal patient panel
- Participate in shared urgent appointments
- Work with no on-call responsibilities

Compensation Estimated Gross Billings: $350,000–$500,000+ CAD/year, depending on schedule, patient volume, payment model, and individual practice.

Competitive clinic overhead split: 80/20 to 70/30, depending on FTE and practice arrangement.

Clinic Hours

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday: 8:00 am–3:00 pm

Wednesday: 10:00 am–3:00 pm

Lunch:



12:00–1:00 pm

Typical physician hours are approximately 7:30 am–3:30 pm, with flexibility to customize your schedule.

Qualifications

Applicants should

- Hold a recognized medical degree
- Have completed appropriate postgraduate/family medicine training
- Be licensed and in good standing in their current jurisdiction, where applicable
- Be eligible, or reasonably expected to become eligible, for CPSBC registration
- Meet applicable CPSBC requirements for practice in British Columbia
- Be committed to high-quality, patient-centred primary care

Current CPSBC registration is not required at the time of application for internationally trained candidates. If you are an internationally trained family physician and aren’t sure whether your qualifications are eligible in British Columbia, we still encourage you to apply.
