• Environment (HSE) Coordinator to take ownership of day-to-day HSE activities at the site. This is a permanent position for an HSE skilled who is comfortable operating with autonomy, working directly with manufacturing teams, and driving health and safety initiatives from identification through implementation and follow-up. The HSE Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating and managing the site's Health, Safety &
• Environment activities and supporting the continued development of a strong safety culture. You will act as a key HSE resource for managers, supervisors and employees, ensuring that safety requirements are understood, implemented and consistently followed throughout the facility. You will conduct inspections and risk assessments, investigate incidents, manage corrective actions, maintain compliance documentation, coordinate training, monitor HSE performance and support management on health and safety matters. As the role supports both French- and English-speaking employees and stakeholders, skilled bilingualism in French and English is required. Manage and coordinate day-to-day HSE activities across the Kirkland manufacturing facility. Develop, review, implement and maintain HSE policies, procedures, programs and work instructions. Ensure compliance with applicable Quebec occupational health and safety legislation and internal company requirements. Conduct regular workplace inspections, hazard assessments and risk assessments. Identify unsafe conditions and practices and work with operational teams to implement appropriate controls. Perform root cause analysis and ensure appropriate corrective and preventive actions are implemented. Support supervisors and managers in addressing health and safety issues within their teams. Coordinate HSE projects and improvement initiatives from planning through implementation. Maintain HSE records, compliance files, inspection records and supporting documentation. Develop and monitor HSE KPIs, dashboards and performance reports. Analyze HSE trends and recommend preventive or corrective measures. Prepare and deliver HSE reports and presentations to management. Coordinate safety meetings,
action plans and follow-up activities. Coordinate employee HSE onboarding, training and awareness initiatives. Support emergency preparedness and response activities. Promote employee participation and strengthen the site's safety culture. Work closely with Production, Operations, Engineering, Quality, HR and other departments on HSE matters. Support continuous improvement initiatives related to workplace safety, ergonomics, processes and working conditions. Act as a visible HSE presence on the production floor and provide practical guidance to employees and supervisors. Perform other HSE responsibilities required to support the facility. College diploma or Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health &
• Safety, Environmental Health &
• Safety, Industrial Relations, Engineering, or another relevant discipline. Approximately 3–7 years of relevant HSE / EHS / Occupational Health &
• Safety experience. Practical HSE experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment. Strong knowledge of Quebec occupational health and safety legislation and regulatory requirements.
Experience conducting workplace inspections, hazard identification and risk assessments.
Experience participating in or leading incident investigations and root cause analysis. Ability to develop, maintain and improve HSE procedures and documentation.
Experience with HSE reporting, metrics and KPIs. Professional proficiency in both French and English, spoken and written.
Strong Microsoft
Office skills, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Strong organizational and project-management capabilities. Ability to work independently, establish priorities and take ownership of HSE activities.
Strong Assets
Experience with safety committees and employee safety engagement.
Experience implementing or improving an HSE management system.
Experience developing and delivering safety training. Knowledge of ergonomics, industrial hygiene, hazardous materials or emergency preparedness. Familiarity with Lean, 5S, Kaizen or other continuous-improvement methodologies.

Coordonnateur(trice) – Santé, sécurité et environnement (SSE/HSE) – Bilingue français/anglais Poste permanent à temps plein Le/la Coordonnateur(trice) HSE sera responsable de la coordination et de la gestion des activités de santé, sécurité et environnement du site de Kirkland et contribuera activement au développement d'une forte culture de prévention. Puisque le poste soutient des employés et partenaires francophones et anglophones, le bilinguisme professionnel français-anglais, à l'oral comme à l'écrit, est requis. Prendre en charge et coordonner les activités HSE quotidiennes du site manufacturier de Kirkland.
Développer, réviser, mettre en œuvre et maintenir les politiques, procédures, programmes et instructions de travail HSE. Veiller au respect de la législation québécoise applicable en matière de santé et sécurité ainsi que des standards internes de l'entreprise. Effectuer régulièrement des inspections des lieux de travail, des analyses de dangers et des évaluations des risques.
Identifier les situations et comportements à risque et travailler avec les équipes opérationnelles afin de mettre en place les mesures de contrôle appropriées. Effectuer des analyses des causes fondamentales et assurer la mise en œuvre des actions correctives et préventives. Conseiller et accompagner les gestionnaires et superviseurs dans la gestion des enjeux de santé et sécurité.
Coordonner les projets et initiatives d'amélioration HSE, de leur planification jusqu'à leur mise en œuvre. Maintenir à jour les dossiers HSE, registres de conformité, rapports d'inspection et autres documents requis. Développer et suivre les indicateurs de performance, tableaux de bord et KPI HSE.
Analyser les tendances HSE et recommander des mesures préventives ou correctives. Préparer des rapports et présentations HSE destinés à la direction. Coordonner l'accueil HSE des nouveaux employés, les formations en sécurité et les campagnes de sensibilisation.
