Join Our Team as a Financial Controller! Valiant TMS, a global industry leader, is seeking a Financial Controller to support both our Valiant Machine & Tool and Valiant International divisions.

In this role, you will lead and oversee all financial accounting activities across multiple business units, ensuring the integrity of financial reporting, compliance with GAAP, and alignment with corporate policies. You will provide strategic financial leadership and insights to senior management through detailed analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and operational reporting—enabling informed decision-making and supporting continued growth.

You will also lead and guide a cross-functional finance team, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Operations Accounting, and Financial Analysts, ensuring cohesive financial operations across the organization.

Lead and oversee all financial accounting functions across Valiant Machine & Tool and Valiant International

Provide leadership, direction, and development for the finance team, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Operational Accounting, and Financial Analysts

Analyze and interpret financial and statistical data to evaluate project profitability and overall business performance

Ensure management information systems effectively support financial reporting and operational decision-making

Accounts receivable and collections

Accounts payable and vendor management

Project cost tracking and reporting

Cost center accounting





General ledger maintenance and reconciliation Lead the preparation, coordination, and development of annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans

Manage audit processes and ensure compliance with all regulatory and tax requirements, including: Income tax

Sales tax

Property tax

Support continuous improvement initiatives by enhancing financial reporting processes, systems, and tools

Ensure protection and proper stewardship of company assets A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

Professional accounting designation (CPA) preferred

8+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance, including leadership experience

Solid background in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis

Experience in manufacturing and/or project-based environments is strongly preferred

Advanced knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel

Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and project costing

Travel to the USA may be required.
