Role Description This is a remote, contract Finance & M&A; Student Internship focused on acquisition research and deal sourcing support. Serava's team handles prospect outreach, lead qualification, client communication, meetings, negotiations, and deal execution. Interns are not expected to perform sales or closing activities.





Students interested in observing or participating in client meetings may have opportunities to do so as part of the learning experience.

Qualifications

- Strong Analytical Skills for evaluating companies, markets, and transaction opportunities
- Foundational knowledge in Finance, including understanding valuation drivers and capital structures
- Ability to interpret and work with Financial Statements (income statements, balance sheets, cash flow)
- Basic Accounting knowledge to assess business performance and financial health
- Clear and professional Communication skills, both written and verbal, for summarizing findings and collaborating with stakeholders
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field
- Proficiency with spreadsheets and data tools (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets); experience with basic data analysis is an advantage
- Interest in M&A;, private equity, search funds, or corporate development, with a willingness to learn quickly in a quick-paced environment
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple research tasks, and meet deadlines
