Job Overview

We are hiring an experienced Finish Carpenter Team Lead who takes pride in precision work, robust leadership, and delivering high-end results on residential and commercial renovation projects.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who takes pride in their work, leads by example, and holds a high standard for quality. You will be expected to lead from the front, set the standard on site, and ensure all finishing work is completed to a professional, detail-driven standard with minimal deficiencies.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

- Lead and work alongside carpenters, apprentices, and labourers on active job sites
- Perform and oversee high-quality finish carpentry including trim, doors, cabinetry, millwork, and detailed architectural finishing
- Set daily priorities, coordinate workflow, and keep finishing scopes on schedule
- Ensure all work meets high internal quality standards before client walkthroughs or turnover
- Conduct ongoing quality control and correct issues before they become deficiencies
- Coordinate with Project Manager and other trades to maintain project flow
- Support training and development of team members through hands-on leadership
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional job site always
- Participate in site walkthroughs, punch lists, and final project completion
- Help manage materials, tools, and daily job site requirements

WHAT WE EXPECT

- 5+ years of finish carpentry experience in residential and/or commercial construction
- Proven experience leading or supervising crews in the field




- Solid skills in trim, doors, millwork, cabinetry, and detailed finishing work
- Ability to read drawings, specifications, and execute work with precision
- Strong attention to detail and workmanship
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain schedules under pressure
- Strong communication and leadership presence on site
- Safety-conscious and professional attitude
- Strong knowledge of residential and commercial renovation and construction
- Own basic set of carpentry hand tools, including a cordless drill
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
