Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and energetic Front of House Team Member to join our dynamic restaurant team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere and providing exceptional customer service.

Your responsibilities will include taking orders, handling payments, and supporting food service operations to deliver a memorable dining experience. Previous restaurant or food industry experience is preferred, but we welcome motivated individuals eager to learn and grow within our team.

Duties

- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive customer service throughout their visit
- Take food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS
- Handle cash transactions with precision and perform cashiering duties
- Assist with food preparation and ensure proper food handling and sanitation standards are maintained
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area, including dining space and service stations
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service
- Support team members in serving food, refilling beverages, and managing customer inquiries
- Follow all food safety protocols and sanitation procedures to uphold health standards





Skills

- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Experience with food preparation, serving, and food safety practices
- Proficiency with POS systems such as Micros POS; basic math skills for cash handling and transactions
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours
- Ability to perform cashiering duties accurately and handle cash handling responsibilities responsibly
- Knowledge of food industry standards, sanitation, and proper food handling techniques
- Previous restaurant or food service experience is preferred but not required; a willingness to learn is essential
- Effective communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest satisfaction and sales
