The Role
We’re looking for an Estimator/Coordinator to work side by side with ownership to estimate, coordinate, support and represent our business. This is a hands-on role that owns the bid process from tender to award, staying involved through project handoff and closeout. Review plans and specifications to determine scope and pricing for each project • Communicate with vendors to obtain material quotes and assist in purchasing • Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits to review existing conditions as required • Prepare key plan drawings, budgets, scope documents,
and submittals for field staff • Facilitate project hand-off meetings with field staff to ensure a smooth transition • Price and manage change orders throughout the project lifecycle • Compile O&M; manuals for project closeout • Attend networking functions to promote company interests What You Bring • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, or a related field preferred; equivalent combinations of education, training, and experience will be considered • Minimum 5 years of experience in construction estimating (coatings, finishes, or related trade experience is a strong asset) • Clear understanding of architectural drawings and finish specifications • A team player who builds and maintains strong relationships with crew, customers, and trades • Lifelong learner, an openness to ongoing training and career development Competitive salary $60K+ dependent on experience and education •
