Duties

- Take accurate orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring timely communication with the kitchen and bar staff
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
- Upsell menu items to increase sales opportunities while providing personalized recommendations based on guest preferences
- Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including cashiering duties and processing payments with basic math skills
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in dining areas, ensuring a safe environment for guests and staff alike
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure proper food preparation,
presentation, and timely delivery to guests
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with strong guest service skills
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS for order entry and cashiering functions
- Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
- Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling, billing, and order calculations
