Duties

Provides food service support in a large-scale institutional dining facility. Assists in the preparation, assembly and serving of meals; gathers, transports, receives and stores food products and supplies; replenishes serving areas; and performs cleaning and sanitation duties in food preparation, service and dining areas. Depending on operational requirements, duties may also include operating a point-of-sale terminal, performing cashier functions, or providing other food service support activities.

Ensures established food safety, hygiene and workplace safety standards are followed and contributes to the productive delivery of food services as part of a team environment.
