TKO Forklift & Equipment is expanding our service capabilities across Kamloops and Salmon Arm, and we’re looking for a skilled Forklift Service Technician / Mechanic to join our team. About the Role

As a Forklift Service Technician / Mechanic, you will:

· Perform preventative maintenance on customer forklifts and other material handling equipment

· Diagnose and repair all forms of customer equipment

· Complete each repair job in a timely, efficient, and professional manner

· Promote and encourage customer service

· Work independently at customer locations with strong attention to safety

· Properly complete and submit all required paperwork

· Incorporate TKO’s Guiding Principles into daily activities

· Maintain consistent, reliable attendance and be ready for work at the designated start time

· Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, propane, and mechanical systems

· Support customers with reliable, professional mobile service

· Contribute to a positive, respectful, and safety‑driven team culture

What We’re Looking For

Required Qualifications





· Two years of previous mechanical repair experience in forklift, auto, diesel, agricultural, or heavy equipment repair

· Previous field experience is highly preferable

· Excellent mechanical aptitude

· Strong electrical diagnostics

· Possess own tools

· Clean driving record and valid driver’s license to drive company vehicle

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team

· Strong history of safety, compliance, and professionalism

· Excellent customer service and communication skills

· Ability to lift and lower heavy items on a consistent basis

· Ability to manage workload and complete repairs efficiently

Bonus Skills

· Some hydraulics and propane experience

· Welding or fabrication skills

· Hydraulic troubleshooting experience

· Previous mobile service experience

· Experience with dock equipment or construction equipment

Pay: $25.00-$40.00 per hour
