Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Framer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for constructing the structural framework of buildings, ensuring precision and safety throughout the process. This role requires a strong understanding of blueprint reading, carpentry, and various construction techniques. The Framer will work closely with project managers and other trades to deliver high-quality results on time and within specifications.

Duties

- Interpret and follow detailed blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to accurately frame structures.
- Construct wall frames, floors, roofs, and other structural components using hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment as needed.
- Perform concrete forming and finishing tasks to support foundational elements of construction projects.
- Install siding, insulation, and other exterior or interior components as required.
- Operate heavy equipment safely for lifting and positioning large materials or structural elements.
- Conduct welding and woodworking tasks to assemble framing components securely.




- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and building codes.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while maintaining quality standards.
- Assist in restoration projects when necessary, applying relevant skills to repair or refurbish existing structures.

Skills

- Proficient in blueprint reading, schematics, and construction drawings.
- Experience of 1 or 2 years as a Framer or Carpenter.
- Proficient in using various power tools safely and effectively.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labour tasks for extended periods.
- Must have safety certifications.
- Considered an asset if you know how to operate Telehandlers/Zoom boom.
