Job Summary

We are a small marketing agency seeking a reliable part-time freelance content creator to provide ongoing support across a variety of client content projects.

This role is a good fit for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, has design and video editing experience, always meets deadlines, and is comfortable working independently.

Weekly deliverables may vary but will generally include:

- Social media content design and video editing
- Writing captions and scheduling social content
- Email and newsletter support
- Research and information gathering
- Formatting documents and content
- General marketing project support

Education A diploma or degree in marketing, communications, business, digital media or a related field.

Skills and Experience

- One to three years of experience in social media content creation.
- Freelance and volunteer experience are both applicable.
- Strong writing and communication skills
- Close attention to detail and able to deliver projects on time.
- Tech-savvy and able to learn new software and platforms quickly.
- Minimum of one year of experience using Canva and Google Workspace.




- Must be comfortable managing your own workload and following processes.
- Must be proficient with video editing.

Position Details

- Candidates must be based in Calgary, Alberta
- Flexible schedule, with agreed-upon deadlines
- As a contractor, you will be paid a flat rate per hour
- Part-time, approximately 10 hours per week to start
- Work from home but be available for a monthly in-person meeting
- Long-term, ongoing work with the ability to grow to full time for the right person

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8.0 – 12.0 per week
