As a successful French Tutor at Scholars, your primary responsibility will be to facilitate student learning while creating a positive and encouraging atmosphere. As a tutor and mentor at Scholars Education Centre, you will provide exceptional, individualized academic support to each student. You’ll be joining a energetic team that is dedicated to helping you make a meaningful difference for every student you work with!

Qualifications of a successful Scholars Team Member include the following:

- A university degree (BA) or current enrollment in a university-level program in good standing.
- Proficiency in English and French is a must.
- Proven ability to competently and confidently facilitate student sessions in the French language.
- Excellent communication skills.




- Able to work both as a part of a team and independently.
- Strong communication and multitasking abilities.
- Experience working with students in a teaching or tutoring setting.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Spanish/Math/Science Proficiency is a bonus.

Other Details

- This position will be based at Scholars of St. Catharines.
- Location hours of operation are typically Monday to Thursday, 1 pm to 8 pm; and Saturday, 9 am to 3 pm.
- Dress code is business casual
- Compensation will be commensurate with experience with an opportunity for profit sharing based on performance
