Avanti Athletics is a boutique Pilates, movement and wellness studio bringing together Reformer Pilates, mat-based fitness, yoga and physiotherapy-led services in a contemporary, community-focused environment.

We are looking for a Member Experience & Sales Associate to join our front-of-house team and play an important role in both the day-to-day member experience and the continued growth of the studio.

The Role

This is more than a traditional front desk position.

As a Member Experience & Sales Associate, you will be one of the first and last people our members interact with. You will help create an exceptional studio experience while supporting membership sales, prospective member follow-up, class bookings and daily studio operations.

The ideal candidate is personable, confident, organized and comfortable having sales conversations. You should genuinely enjoy connecting with people and take pride in creating a polished, welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities

Member Experience

- Warmly welcome members and guests as they arrive at the studio
- Manage member check-ins and assist with class bookings
- Build genuine relationships with members and help foster a strong studio community
- Answer questions regarding classes, memberships, packages, policies and studio services
- Assist members with account and booking inquiries
- Help create an exceptional experience for first-time visitors
- Respond professionally to member questions, feedback and concerns
- Maintain a welcoming, positive and professional front-of-house environment

Membership Sales & Lead Follow-Up

- Educate prospective members on Avanti's classes, memberships and services
- Provide studio tours and introduce prospective members to the Avanti experience




- Assist prospective members in selecting the membership or package that best suits their needs
- Follow up with new leads and prospective members by phone, email and text
- Follow up with trial and first-time clients to support membership conversion
- Support membership sales goals and studio promotions
- Identify opportunities to convert drop-in and trial clients into recurring members
- Maintain accurate notes and follow-up activities within the studio's member management system
- Support member retention by developing relationships and proactively assisting members

Front Desk & Studio Operations

- Manage incoming phone calls, emails and general studio inquiries
- Process memberships, retail purchases and other point-of-sale transactions
- Assist with opening and closing procedures
- Maintain an organized and professional reception area
- Ensure retail displays and member-facing areas remain organized and presentation-ready
- Monitor studio supplies and amenities and advise management when items require restocking
- Assist with light cleaning, tidying and resetting of member areas as required
- Work collaboratively with instructors, physiotherapists and management to ensure classes run smoothly
- Support studio events, promotions and community initiatives
- Complete other front-of-house and administrative duties as required

Previous experience in sales, hospitality, retail, fitness, wellness or customer service is strongly preferred. Previous boutique fitness studio experience is an asset but not required. We are willing to train the right person who brings strong people skills, professionalism and a willingness to learn.

Availability

Avanti operates seven days a week, and this position requires flexible availability.

Candidates should be available for a combination of:

- Early mornings
- Daytime shifts
- Evenings
- Weekends

This is a part-time hourly position, with scheduling based on studio needs and availability.
