Responsibilities

- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and maintain a friendly, professional demeanor throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring quick and precise transactions
- Handle cash, credit card payments, and process refunds or discounts accurately with strong cash handling skills
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness of the front-of-house area, including tables, counters, and service stations in compliance with sanitation standards
- Assist in food preparation or setup as needed to support kitchen staff and ensure timely service




- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve guests promptly while balancing multiple responsibilities

Skills

- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with a focus on guest services
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS for efficient order processing and cashiering
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours
- Knowledge of food handling procedures, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, making change, and processing transactions
- Experience in upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and sales performance
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team in a fast-paced environment
- Previous restaurant or food industry experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided
