Front of House Team Member

Lloyd's Lunchbox is a busy, family-run sandwich shop in Downtown Whitby serving house-made sandwiches, soups, salads, and good conversation.

We're looking for a Front of House Team Member to join our team. This is a part-time position to start, with the potential for additional hours as we continue to grow.

What you'll be doing:

- Greeting guests and creating a welcoming experience
- Taking orders and handling payments
- Preparing drinks and assisting with light food prep
- Maintaining a clean, organized dining room and service area
- Restocking, cleaning, and helping wherever needed throughout the day
- Working closely with a small team in a fast-paced environment

The right person for this role:

- Enjoys interacting with people and providing genuine hospitality
- Is dependable and takes pride in showing up prepared and on time
- Can stay productive during both busy rushes and quieter moments
- Notices what needs to be done without waiting to be asked
- Works well as part of a close-knit team
- Is comfortable receiving feedback and learning new skills

Availability:

- Strong weekend availability is highly valued and will be given priority during the hiring process
- Availability during weekdays is an asset
- Typical shifts fall between 9:00 AM and 4:30 PM, closed on Mondays
