Housekeeper/Nanny Needed in Richmond Hill. Earn $35+/Hour! A warm and busy, family in Richmond Hill is looking for a reliable and experienced Housekeeper/Nanny to become Mom's right-hand person and help keep their household running smoothly.

This is primarily a housekeeping position, with approximately 70% housekeeping and 30% childcare. The family is offering $35/hour, with flexibility for an exceptional candidate.

Schedule

Monday & Tuesday: 7:30 AM – 2:30 PM

Wednesday, Thursday & Friday: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Approximately 35 hours per week.

This is a busy family household with a 3-year-old who attends school, a 1-year-old, and two older teenagers who live in the home part-time.

The family enjoys spending time together, travelling, and getting out for activities. Their household is relaxed and welcoming, but they value routines and consistency for their younger children. They maintain a screen-free environment around the children and prioritize healthy meals and snacks.

They are looking for someone dependable, loving, communicative, and proactive who can confidently take ownership of the household while also stepping in to care for the younger children when needed.

Housekeeping Responsibilities – Approximately 70%

The successful candidate should be comfortable managing the full cleaning needs of a family home, including:





- General and detailed household cleaning
- Cleaning and maintaining the kitchen
- Family laundry, folding, and putting clothing away
- Changing and laundering linens
- Keeping bedrooms, bathrooms, and common areas clean and organized
- Tidying and household organization
- Meal preparation and/or assistance with family meals
- Keeping household supplies organized and letting the family know when items need replenishing
- Taking initiative to identify what needs to be done throughout the home

The family is particularly interested in someone who can work independently and doesn't need to be given a list of tasks each day. Childcare Responsibilities – Approximately 30%

Mom is looking for someone she can confidently rely on to care for the children when she has appointments, needs to step out, or requires an extra set of hands.

Childcare responsibilities may include

- Providing warm, attentive care to the 1-year-old and 3-year-old
- Following the children's established routines and schedules
- Engaging the children in age-appropriate, screen-free activities and play
- Keeping children's spaces and belongings organized

The Ideal Candidate The family is looking for someone who is, experienced with professional household cleaning, reliable and punctual, and a strong communicator. The Family loves to travel and would love to find someone willing to travel with the family for trips of up to approximately two weeks at a time.

A valid driver's licence is strongly preferred, but the family is willing to consider an exceptional candidate who does not drive.
