Candidates should have at least five years of relevant experience and may qualify without specific certifications if they commit to obtaining them within 24-36 months. The role involves a variety of maintenance tasks including troubleshooting, routine inspections, and necessary repairs on gas and diesel-powered equipment. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct scheduled inspections and preventive maintenance
- Troubleshoot and repair gas and diesel engine systems
- Operate necessary shop equipment for repairs
- Perform welding and fabrication as required
- Maintain accurate records of work performed
Requirements:
- Minimum Grade 12 education or equivalent
- Five years of relevant maintenance experience
- Ability to operate diagnostic software and shop tools
- Valid Ontario Driver’s Licence Class DZ
- Strong mechanical aptitude and communication skills
