Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Full-Time Housekeeper to join our team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, welcoming, and comfortable environment for our guests or residents. You will also be required to assist in preparing meals for the family and packed lunches.

Your attention to detail and commitment to excellence will ensure that the existing home finishes are properly cared for and kept in optimal shape. We also have a 7 year old dog (goldendoodle) and your duties will involve helping to care for him.

Duties

- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, common areas, and private spaces using established protocols
- Helping to prepare and cook meals, including cutting vegetables, preparing soups, assembling recipes
- Ensure all surfaces, floors, windows, and fixtures are spotless and well-maintained
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, and cleaning materials to ensure readiness for guests or residents
- Follow safety procedures when handling cleaning chemicals and equipment to maintain a safe environment
- Report any maintenance issues or damages promptly to the appropriate team members
- Adhere to all health and sanitation standards, including proper waste disposal and infection control measures
- Assist with laundry services when required, including washing, folding, and organizing linens




- Morning walk with our 7 year old goldendoodle dog, including morning routine
- If yoiu drive and have a car, this is preferable. Our 13 year old would need a ride to and from school, 10minute drive from our home.

Skills

- Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work or hospitality environments is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques for various surfaces and materials. Paying attention to requirements of specific materials or surfaces with respect to cleaning products
- Ability to operate industrial cleaning equipment safely and efficiently
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality and consistency
- Good communication skills to coordinate with team members and follow instructions effectively
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities within a fast-paced environment
