Full-Time Senior Server The Oxley — Yorkville, Toronto The Oxley is looking for experienced Full-Time Senior Servers to join our front-of-house team.

We are a busy, established Yorkville restaurant with a solid focus on genuine hospitality, quality food and beverage, and knowledgeable, professional service.

We are looking for experienced Servers who can confidently manage a busy section while understanding that great service extends beyond their own tables. Our Senior Servers are expected to be knowledgeable, organized, reliable and engaged members of the entire restaurant team.

Availability This is a full-time Senior Server position.

Applicants must be

- Available seven days per week
- Available for both lunch and dinner services
- Available to be scheduled for a minimum of four shifts per week

The Senior Server Role





Senior Server at The Oxley is a position of increased responsibility and trust.

Our Senior Servers are expected to:

- Confidently manage a full section
- Provide warm, attentive and knowledgeable service
- Maintain solid knowledge of the food and beverage offering
- Confidently discuss and recommend wine
- Understand ingredients, preparation and common dietary requirements
- Recognize and respond to service issues
- Support Junior Servers and less experienced team members
- Work effectively with the kitchen, bar, hosts and management
- Contribute to the overall success of the floor rather than focusing solely on their own section
- Consistently maintain The Oxley's service and professional standards

Senior Servers participate in the restaurant's Senior Server tip allocation, reflecting the increased standards and responsibilities of the position.
