Role Description This is a full time remote Fundraiser role responsible for driving revenue that supports Wendi’s programs and strategic initiatives. The Fundraiser will research and identify prospective donors, grants, and partners, and develop tailored proposals, concept notes, and pitches. Day-to-day activities include managing donor outreach and stewardship, writing fundraising communications and campaign materials, and coordinating virtual events or campaigns.

The role involves collaborating with program teams to gather impact data,



create compelling narratives, and ensure accurate reporting to donors. The Fundraiser will maintain fundraising pipelines, track performance metrics, and contribute ideas to improve Wendi’s overall fundraising strategy and donor experience.

Qualifications

- Fundraising and development skills, including donor prospecting, grant writing, and campaign planning.
- Strong communication abilities, such as persuasive writing, presentation skills, and relationship-building with diverse stakeholders.
- Organizational and analytical skills, including project management, data tracking, and use of CRM or fundraising databases.
- Experience or demonstrated interest in non-profit work, community development, education, or leadership programs.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple deadlines, and collaborate effectively across time zones.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Development Studies, Communications, Non-profit Management, Business) or equivalent practical experience.
- Familiarity with online fundraising tools, social media, and digital communication platforms is an advantage.
