Role Description The Fundraiser is a full-time, on-site role based in Mississauga, ON, focused on engaging members of the public to raise awareness and secure donations for client organizations. In this position, the Fundraiser will conduct door-to-door outreach, street campaigns, and on-site fundraising activities at malls, events, and other high-traffic locations. Daily tasks include approaching and engaging potential donors, delivering clear and compelling campaign messages, answering questions, and accurately processing donor information.





The role also involves meeting individual and team fundraising targets, following campaign guidelines and compliance standards, and maintaining professional conduct while representing clients. The Fundraiser will collaborate closely with team leads, attend training sessions, and provide feedback from the field to help improve campaign performance.

Qualifications

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse members of the public in face-to-face settings.
- Sales, fundraising, or customer service experience in environments such as door-to-door outreach, retail, events, or street campaigns.
- Ability to work in office in various outdoor and indoor locations, including residential neighborhoods, malls, campuses, and events.
- Goal-oriented mindset, comfortable working with performance targets and using basic reporting tools to track results.
- Reliable, professional, and punctual, with the capacity to work full-time hours and collaborate effectively in team environments.
- Willingness to learn campaign messaging, compliance standards, and best practices through ongoing coaching and training.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in marketing, communications, or related fields is an asset.
- Experience in field marketing, promotional campaigns, or non-profit fundraising is considered an advantage.
