Furniture Custom Upholsterer :

Location: Vaughan, Ontario

Pay: $25–$32 per hour, based on experience and skill level

Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced Furniture Custom Upholsterer to join our team in Vaughan. The successful candidate will have hands-on experience upholstering custom furniture and be comfortable working with different fabrics, leather, foam, and upholstery materials.

Key Responsibilities :

- Upholster custom furniture including sofas, chairs, ottomans, benches, and other upholstered pieces.
- Measure, cut, and prepare fabric, leather, foam, and other upholstery materials.
- Remove and replace existing upholstery when required.
- Install and secure upholstery using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Ensure proper alignment, fit, tension, and finishing of upholstery materials.
- Read and follow furniture designs, patterns, measurements, and specifications.
- Inspect finished furniture to ensure high-quality workmanship.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.




- Work efficiently while meeting production and quality requirements.

Qualifications :

- Minimum 2 years of furniture upholstery experience preferred.
- Strong hands-on skills in custom furniture upholstery.
- Experience working with sofas, chairs, benches, or similar furniture.
- Ability to use common upholstery tools and equipment safely.
- Good attention to detail and quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to long-term employment.
