Overview

We are looking for a reliable and qualified G or GZ licensed driver to operate a 26-ft box truck for local and regional freight deliveries.

This position involves multiple pickups and deliveries throughout the day across Kitchener-Waterloo, Cambridge, Guelph, the GTA, Peel Region, York Region, and surrounding areas.

We are looking for someone dependable, professional, and comfortable working independently. Experienced drivers who are able to step into the role with minimal training will be considered for the higher end of the pay range.

Responsibilities

- Safely operate a 26-ft box truck for local and regional deliveries
- Complete multiple scheduled pickups and deliveries throughout the day
- Load, unload, secure, and safely handle freight using a pallet jack and hydraulic tailgate when required
- Complete delivery paperwork accurately and obtain required signatures
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Communicate delivery delays, issues, or discrepancies as needed
- Maintain professional communication with customers
- Follow company procedures and all applicable transportation and safety regulations

Requirements

- Valid Ontario G or GZ driver's licence
- Clean driver's abstract
- References




- Previous experience driving a 26-ft box truck or similar commercial vehicle is strongly preferred
- Previous commercial freight, delivery, or multi-stop route experience is an asset
- Experience using a pallet jack and hydraulic tailgate is an asset
- Comfortable driving throughout Kitchener-Waterloo, surrounding areas, and the GTA
- Physically capable of loading, unloading, and handling freight as required
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Able to manage multiple pickups and deliveries efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy with delivery paperwork
- Professional communication and customer service skills

Owner-Operators We are also open to working with qualified owner-operators with a suitable commercial vehicle.

Owner-operator compensation is separate from the employee hourly wage listed above.
