Scope of the Position:

LinkBuild Construction Ltd. (LinkBuild) is a Prince George BC based company specializing in heavy civil and resource construction. LinkBuild specializes in resource construction, access structures, mining support, civil construction, concrete, reclamation, and general earthworks.

We are seeking hardworking and reliable General Construction Labourers to join our bridge construction and rehabilitation team. The successful candidate will assist with construction activities, support skilled trades and equipment operators, and help maintain a safe, productive, and well-organized worksite.

Responsibilities:

The General Construction Labourer will assist with a variety of duties including but not limited to the following:

- Assist with bridge construction and rehabilitation projects.
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials.
- Perform site preparation, excavation support, and general cleanup duties.
- Assist with formwork setup, temporary works, and basic installation/removal tasks as directed.
- Assist carpenters, concrete finishers, and equipment operators.
- Operate hand and power tools safely as trained and directed.
- Install and remove temporary barriers, forms, and supports/work area protections.
- Follow all workplace safety policies, procedures, and protected work practices.
- Maintain good housekeeping and support a clean, safe jobsite.
- Perform other labour-related duties as assigned.

Working Conditions: This position is a field-based role supporting bridge/heavy civil projects. Work will be performed outdoors in varying weather conditions and may require travel to job sites.

The Construction Labourer will report to the Construction Supervisor.

Education, Training & Additional Requirements:

- No formal education required; however, relevant safety training is an asset.
- Safety certifications are an advantage (examples: WHMIS, First Aid,



Fall Protection).
- Valid Class 5 driver’s licence with a clean abstract (required).
- Willingness to travel: 75% (required).
- Work location: On the road (project sites).

Experience: You’ve built real field experience in general labour and bridge/heavy civil work and are able to assist crews effectively while following safe work practices.

· General labourer experience: 2 years (required)

· Bridge/Heavy civil experience: 2 years (required) (based on your original requirements)

- Comfortable working on the road / jobsite travel readiness.

Pay Rate and Hours:

- Hourly wage: Dependent upon experience and qualifications; $30–$38/hour and room to grow
- Hours of work: Typically, 40–60 hours per week, with scheduled days off
