The company specializes in the export of solid minerals and agricultural products, sourcing the finest raw materials from local markets to meet international demand. Neveah has now expanded into manufacturing, focusing on the recycling of aluminum and copper to produce ingots for export, further strengthening its global footprint.

Job Position: General Manager

Job Locations: Lagos / Ogun, Kano & Delta

About the Role

- We are seeking an experienced and results-driven General Manager to provide overall leadership and operational direction for our plastic manufacturing business.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for driving business performance, operational efficiency, profitability, workforce effectiveness, and sustainable growth across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide overall leadership and strategic direction for the Company's manufacturing and commercial operations.
- Develop and execute business strategies that support revenue growth, profitability, and operational excellence.
- Oversee production, sales, procurement, finance, logistics, quality, maintenance, and other key business functions.
- Drive production efficiency, capacity utilization, cost control, waste reduction, and profitability.
- Monitor key business performance indicators and ensure departments achieve agreed targets.
- Develop and manage annual operating plans, budgets, and performance objectives.
- Ensure effective inventory, raw material, and finished-goods management.
- Strengthen procurement, supply chain, and vendor management processes.
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory, environmental, health, safety, and quality requirements.




- Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers, business partners, and other stakeholders.
- Lead, motivate, and develop the management team to achieve organizational objectives.
- Identify operational risks and implement appropriate mitigation measures.
- Review business performance regularly and provide timely reports and recommendations to Management/Board.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the manufacturing facility.
- Ensure the Company's assets, equipment, and facilities are properly maintained and efficiently utilized.

Requirements

- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Management, Manufacturing, or a related field.
- 8–12 years of relevant experience, with significant experience in manufacturing operations and management.
- Proven experience managing a manufacturing business or large-scale production operation.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, cost management, supply chain, and commercial operations.
- Demonstrated experience in achieving revenue, profitability, production, and operational targets.
- Solid leadership, strategic thinking, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent financial and business acumen.
- Experience in the plastic manufacturing industry will be a strong advantage.
