Position Overview

William Blake Homes is seeking a motivated and dependable General Site Labourer to support our residential construction projects throughout Calgary and surrounding areas. This position plays an important role in maintaining safe, organized, and productive job sites while assisting Site Foremen, Project Managers, and trade partners with day-to-day construction activities.

This is an excellent entry level opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in their work, and is interested in building a long-term career in the residential construction industry.

Key Responsibilities

· Maintain clean, safe, and organized construction sites.

· Assist with material deliveries, loading, unloading, and site logistics.

· Perform general labour duties including demolition, site preparation, and cleanup.

· Support Site Foremen and Project Managers with daily construction activities.

· Install temporary site protection and maintain job site security.

· Perform site maintenance, including weed trimming and snow removal as needed.

· Complete deficiency items and touch-ups as assigned.

· Operate hand tools and small power tools safely and effectively.

· Remove waste materials and manage site recycling and disposal bins.

· Monitor and report safety concerns,



hazards, or site issues.

· Ensure all work is completed in accordance with company quality and safety standards.

· Assist trades and suppliers as required to maintain project schedules.

Required Qualifications

- Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence.
- Reliable transportation though a company vehicle may be provided
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding work.
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to workplace safety.

Preferred Qualifications

- Previous residential construction experience.
- CSTS certification and First Aid training, or willingness to obtain upon hire.
- Experience using construction hand tools and power tools.
- Basic carpentry knowledge.

Pay: $20.00-$26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
