Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Construction Foreman at Coreydale Contracting in the Greater Toronto Area, Canada. The Excavation / Earthworks Foreman will be responsible to work together with the supervisor, project manager,



and site workers to provide leadership and management at the site level to ensure company projects are operating smoothly and to maximize production at a high-quality standard.

Qualifications

- Coordinate all material ordering with project manager, and confirm delivery schedules, including the inspection and verification of quantities delivered to the project
- Ability to operator GPS system for layout.
- Lead construction crew with daily and weekly project tasks.
- Perform on-site layout as per construction project drawings and GPS.
- Review all contract drawings for discrepancies and coordinate required changes with the field, the project manager and supervisor.
- Maintain office reporting requirements (ex. daily reports, timecards, quality inspections, etc.)
- Ensure the correct allocation of manpower and equipment to minimize the cost on and maximize production on all jobs
- Administer all health and safety policies as required.
- Maintaining good attendance and punctuality
- Flexibility with a work schedule that has varying start times and end times
- Maintain, clean, and organize equipment and supplies
- Labour as required
- Ensure and enforce compliance to all company, client and legislated safety policies and procedures
- Any additional duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time
