Duties

- Operate heavy equipment such as grinders, loaders, excavators, dozer machines to process raw materials into mulch.
- Load finished mulch products onto trucks or storage areas with precision and efficiency.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment and other heavy-duty tools to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Assist with maintenance and minor repairs on equipment to minimize downtime and ensure continuous production flow.
- Follow detailed operational procedures for grinding, loading, and material handling processes.




- Collaborate with team members to meet production targets while upholding quality standards.

Qualifications

- Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as loaders, excavators, dozers in a construction or manufacturing setting.
- Mechanical knowledge sufficient to perform basic troubleshooting and routine maintenance on machinery.
- Valid commercial driver’s license
- Familiarity with equipment and other heavy machinery is highly advantageous.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures related to heavy equipment operation and material handling.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions with physical stamina for long shifts.
