Café & Customer Service Team Members We are hiring friendly, dependable, and hardworking people to join our front-of-house team. Positions available: One full time permanent position Two part-time permanent positions Our front staff create a warm and welcoming experience for every customer while helping the café and market areas run smoothly. This is a varied, hands-on role that includes customer service, café service, merchandising, and general store upkeep.

Responsibilities include

Greeting customers and providing friendly, helpful service. Operating the POS and handling transactions accurately. Preparing coffee, espresso, tea, and other café beverages. Packaging and labelling bakery, food, and retail products.

Stocking shelves, displays, coolers, and other product areas. Receiving, displaying, and caring for fresh produce. Checking produce and other products regularly for quality and freshness.



Rotating products and monitoring best-before dates to minimize waste.

Keeping displays attractive, organized, clean, and well stocked. Cleaning and maintaining the café, customer areas, counters, equipment, shelves, and workspaces. Completing opening or closing duties as scheduled.

Working efficiently and cooperatively to support the entire team.

Requirements

1 year experience in a grocery/market setting or cafe setting Valid Food Handler's Certificate The ideal candidates enjoy working with people, take pride in maintaining a clean and attractive store, and are comfortable balancing several responsibilities in a busy environment. They must be dependable, attentive to detail, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
