About the Role

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Grocery Clerk / Prep Team Member to join our Sherwood team in a full-time, dual-role position. This hybrid role supports both our Grocery and Prepared Foods departments, making it a great fit for someone who enjoys variety, staying active, and helping wherever needed. You’ll spend time keeping our grocery department stocked and organized while also supporting the Prep team with food preparation, packaging, stocking, and maintaining a clean and efficient workspace.

What You’ll Do

Grocery:

- Stock and replenish grocery products throughout the store
- Receive, unpack, organize, and rotate inventory
- Ensure shelves are clean, organized, faced, and properly stocked
- Monitor product quality, dates, and rotation
- Assist customers with product questions and locating items
- Help maintain backroom and storage areas
- Support receiving and deliveries as required

Prep:

- Assist with basic food preparation and production tasks
- Portion, package, label, and stock prepared foods
- Replenish displays and ensure products are fresh and beautifully presented
- Follow recipes, food safety procedures, and department standards




- Maintain clean and sanitary workstations, equipment, and preparation areas
- Assist the Prepared Foods team with daily production and other tasks as needed

What We’re Looking For

- Previous grocery, food preparation, retail, or hospitality experience is an asset
- Comfortable working between multiple departments and shifting priorities throughout the day
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Able to safely lift, carry, stock, and move products throughout a shift
- Strong commitment to cleanliness, food safety, and customer service
- Full-time availability, including weekends
