Education and Experience

- Valid Alberta Teaching Certificate
- Bachelor of Education Degree or equivalent recognized by Alberta Education

Demonstrated Skills and Competencies

- Exemplary, evidence-based instructional practices
- Understanding, confidence, skill, knowledge, and adherence to the Alberta Program of Studies
- Capacity to demonstrate differentiated instructional practices,



effective student engagement strategies, and outcome-based assessment practices
- Collaboration with staff team in developing innovative learning experiences for students
- Strong ability to build and maintain trusting relationships with students, colleagues, and parents
- Commitment to infusing technology into core curriculum where appropriate
- Innovator's mindset - willingness to take risks and adapt to new challenges and interested in acquiring new skills
- Willingness to adapt and grow in a constantly evolving setting
- Competent in using online learning support tools
