Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Hakka Chef to bring authentic Hakka cuisine to life in a vibrant restaurant setting. Duties

- Prepare and cook authentic Hakka dishes with precision and creativity, maintaining traditional flavors and techniques
- Supervise kitchen staff to ensure effective food preparation and adherence to quality standards
- Manage food handling procedures to ensure safety and compliance with health regulations
- Oversee food service operations during peak hours, coordinating with front-of-house staff to deliver excellent customer service
- Train and mentor team members in cooking methods, food presentation, and safety protocols
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, ensuring all equipment is properly maintained




- Monitor inventory levels, order supplies as needed, and minimize waste through effective stock management

Skills

- Proven supervising experience in a busy restaurant or culinary environment
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food handling safety standards
- Extensive food service experience with a focus on Asian or Hakka cuisine preferred
- Leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively
- Excellent restaurant management abilities including workflow coordination and staff training
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment operation and maintenance
- Exceptional communication skills for team collaboration and customer interaction
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in food quality and safety standards
